GREG's
NEET-O COLOR TESTER

Please upgrade your Browser to NETSCAPE 4.x or EXPLORER 4.x

WHOA!!!!! Here is something I did that may be actually useful to someone -- maybe even YOU! It was put together by me in a moment of sanity.... no problem, though... the symptoms quickly passed. This file will allow you to select different background colors to see how text of other colors will appear on that background.

Most new browsers will allow you to use either the NAME of the desired color or the HEX value for the color. The following table lists the color names that match their HEX value with the Netscape and Explorer browsers. The Background select button will set the background according to the color's HEX value.

A color HEX (short for Hexadecimal) value is the Red (R), Green (G), and Blue (B) color ratio combination required to create that color. The HTML color expression is #RRGGBB.
The HTML to set colors is:
BODY BGCOLOR="#FFFFFF" or BODY BGCOLOR="white"
TABLE BGCOLOR="#FFFFFF" or TABLE BGCOLOR="white"
FONT COLOR="#FFFFFF" or FONT COLOR="white"

P.S. This table background color is AntiqueWhite (#FAEBD7)
P.P.S. The "#" symbol is called an octothorpe.... and
The dot over the letter 'i' is called a tittle...
just thought you might like to know that for some reason....
